ABOUT ANTALYA

You or your partner can enjoy not only the sea and sand of Antalya, but also the history around. The tours that are presented here can be taken ANY DAY before, during or after the conference. In order for the tour to take place there has to be a minimum number of people registering for that particular tour. Please make your registration as soon as possible. Here are some suggestions:

ANTALYA DAILY CITY TOURS

ANT 01 - ANTALYA CITY TOUR (Antalya Museum, Ancient Antalya Castle & Shopping) - Half Day

Departure from the hotel, visit the famous ANTALYA MUSEUM.
Visit the ancient ANTALYA CASTLE where now there are many bars and cafes. Then continue to have a shopping break for experiencing qualified and worldwide known textile, jewellery, leather and cosmetics.

ANT 02 - P.A.S. TOUR (PERGE, ASPENDOS, SİDE) - Full Day

Departure for a full day tour to the PAMPHYLIAN CITIES OF PERGE, ASPENDOS and SIDE with their impressive ruins and well preserved theatres in the fertile plains of Antalya.
Visit the ruins of the Great Theatre, Stadium and the huge Hellenistic and Roman gates of Perge,
Drive to ASPENDOS to see the best preserved Roman theatre in the world.Lunch on Boğazköy Restaurant.
Drive to ancient city of Side and visit the MANAVGAT WATERFALLS.

ANT 03 - TERMESSOS, DUDEN WATERFALLS - Half Day

Departure from the hotel for THERMESSOS, which is at the height of the 3000 mt - 17.500 feet of the Taurus Mountain. Then continue to beautiful Duden Waterfalls.

ANT 04 - KEKOVA / MYRA/ST. NİCHOLAS (Full Day)

Departure from hotel and arrival to Çayagzı Marina. Embark typical wooden boat for a short cruise and visit KEKOVA ISLAND. During the cruise you will have see SUNKEN CITY and opportunity to swim. After we have lunch at Demre, continue and visit to MYRA ancient city which is famous for its LYKIAN ROCK TOMBS and ancient theatre. Visit ST. NICHOLAS CHURCH who was the bishop of the city in the 4th C. This man of great myth was no other than the legendary Christian "SANTA CLAUS".

ANT 05 - KEMER BOAT TOUR (FULL DAY)

Transfer to Kemer. Visiting 12 different bays, lunch on the boat and swimming in three different bays. Lunch on boat.

ANT 06 -ASPENDOS -  MANAVGAT WATERFALLS - Half Day

Departure for visiting ASPENDOS the best preserved Roman theatre in the world. Still its doors are open for events. After visiting Aspendos, drive to ancient city of Side and visit the MANAVGAT WATERFALLS.

ISTANBUL DAILY CITY TOURS 


IST 01 - ANCIENT CITY (Half Day)


Departure from hotel,visit Hippodromme, the arena where the chariot races held, with the amazing monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Bronze Serpentine Column and Column of  Constantine.

Sultanahmet Mosque also known as Blue Mosque, one of the beautiful sample of Ottoman archtiecture built in the 17th century, famous with its six minarets, graceful cascade of domes and blue tiles. St.Sophia, the ancient basilica built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century and reconsturcted by Justinian in the 6th century, is one of the greatest architectural marvels of all the time.

IST 02 - OTTOMAN RELICS (Half Day)

Departure from hotel, visit Süleymaniye Mosque, the mosque of Suleyman the Magnificent was built by Mimar Sinan between 1550 and 1557, the chief architect of Sultans. Following drive to the Topkapı Palace, the greatest palace of the Ottoman Sultans housing a superb and unrivaled collections of Chinese Porcelain, armor, jewels and many objects of art formerly belonging to the Sultans. Finally, Grand Bazaar, the biggest and the oldest covered bazaar in the world with 4.000 shops with its oriental atmosphere.

IST 03 - BOSPHORUS ON BOAT (Half Day)

Departure from hotel,visit Spice (Egyptian) Bazaar, you will find 100 kinds of spices and medicinal herbs as well as a wide variety of commodities. Continue the tour with a cruise up to the waterway to see the city as it was meant to be seen.  

Along the shores of Bosphorus is a delightfully surprising mixture of residences, historical marble palaces, old wooden houses constructed during the Ottoman Empire, splendid villas, fishing villages facing each other in slendour and quaint beauty across the Bosphorus.

IST 04 - ORIENTAL NIGHTS IN ISTANBUL (Night Tour) 

Dinner at the first class restaurant including half bottle of wine or a soft drink and watching fascinating FLOORSHOW of  BELLY DANCERS, typical ANATOLIAN FOLKLORE GROUPS featuring popular musical einstruments and Turkish singer. 

IST 05 MOONLIGHT BOSPHORUS CRUISE (Night Tour)

A stay in Istanbul should not be completed without the traditional and unforgetable excursions along the BOSPHORUS by night. Cruising up the illuminated coast, the traditional fare "meze" (hors d'oeuvres) followed by freshly grilled fish and accompanied by the excellent Turkish white wines or the traditional "rakı"  (aniseed) will be served while having live tzigane music on the background and range of grand splendour and quaint beauty across.
